Carrot Patties - Vegan Gluten-free
Important
Ingredients for 9 patties
100g Sauce Mix for Vegan Vegetable Patties with Protein
1g garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic
65g carrot – shredded
5g fresh or dried rubbed parsley
10g fresh lemon juice
80g water
Coconut oil for frying
9 homemade buns (see recipe at Recipe page – Burger Buns with Flour Mix for Soft and
White Bread Products)
Method
Step 1
Peel and shred the carrots.
In a food processor or blade chopper blend together the shredded carrot, parsley and garlic –
set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl combine water, fresh lemon juice and sauce mix.
Add the chopped-up carrot, parsley and garlic and mix well by hand.
Set aside to rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3
After rest, with wet hands divide the mixture into 9 portions of patties.
Step 4
In a large frying pan heat up the coconut oil and fry the patties 2.5 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Serve it with our homemade bun (see recipe on this page) as a vegan burger.
Fill it with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and top it with mustard, tomato sauce, relish or
aioli.
