Hearty Squares – Vegan + Gluten-free

Ingredients for the dough
100 g Langosh Flour Mix
20 g fresh lemon juice
100 g water
1 tsp coconut oil
2 carrots
2 potatoes
1 parsnip
2 spring onions or 1 red onions
Ingredients for the seasonings
5 g thyme
5 g marjoram
5 g parsley
5 g sweet paprika powder
5 g white pepper
5 g chili powder
5 g smoked paprika powder
5 g garlic powder
5 g salt
Ingredients for the topping
Linseed flakes or Sesame seeds or both
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C.
Grease and lightly flour 30x40 cm baking dish.
Step 2
Peel and cut up the carrot, potato, parsnip, and onion and chop them up finely in a blender or
food processor.
Set aside.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Langosh Flour Mix and all the seasoning ingredients.
Add to the bowl the finely chopped vegetables, lemon juice, water, and coconut oil.
Knead them well together by hand for a few minutes.
Step 4
Pour the mixture in the baking dish – about 1 cm thick – and top with linseed flakes/sesame
seeds or both.
Step 5
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut them into squares.
