Vegan Cheese Stick – Vegan + Gluten-free

Ingredients for the dough


135g Crusty Homemade Buckwheat Bread Flour Mix
20ml fresh lemon juice
155g lukewarm water
3g salt

Ingredients for the toppings
Sweet Paprika powder
Sesame seeds
50g vegan cheese substitute
Coconut oil

Method

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2
In a large bowl combine all the ingredients for the dough.
Leave it to rest for 5 minutes.

Step 3
After 5 minutes rest, place the dough on a slightly floured surface and knead it for a few
minutes.
Roll the dough out to a 5-6 mm thickness.

Step 4
Brush the dough with coconut oil.
Sprinkle evenly with the paprika and sesame seeds.

Step 5
Cut around the dough to get a straightedge.
Cut the dough into 15 mm wide lines then cut the lines into two equal parts.

Step 6
Place them on the baking tray and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
